Title: AI Research Scientist & Research Intern Job Responsibilities • Develop and perform cutting-edge research to advance AI state-of-the-art. This includes but not limited to project planning, literature review, and developing proofs-of-concept. • Design world-leading AI algorithms and models to support the real-world applications in Business Ingelligence, Computational Biology& Drug Discovery, Smart City, Data Mining and Machine Learning. • Communicate your research both internally among AI researchers and externally through presentations, publications, and open source contributions. • Engage in team collaborations to meet research goals. • Publish papers in top conference and jourals. Job Requirements • PhD in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience. • A track record of influential AI research or a related domain, such as papers in top conferences or journals (include but not limited to KDD, ACL, ICML, NIPS, WWW, IJCAI, AAAI, TPAMI, TKDE, etc.) • Able to write code. While we appreciate the theoretical understanding, it is important that you are also able to write good code in languages such as C++/Java/Python/CUDA (i.e., not just Matlab). • For internship, must be currently enrolled in a PhD or master program, and/or have developed a strong backgroup (e.g. projects or publish) involving machine learning. Experiences of top-tier academic publications, data mining challenge awards, and ICPC awards are strong plus. Typically, the duration of the internship should be at least 6 months.
